Fall Deco

So I saw this idea in a magazine-- it was a little different but I loved it! I thought it turned out so cute. I love this time of year, and I especially love the decorations! This weeks goal is getting out my halloween things! I will post again soon!

All Done

So the pictures don't really give it justice but-- I can finally say that I am somewhat finished with Chase's room! The only things left are that I am in the process of recovering the red toy box pillow with the material that matches the window shade. I am also waiting on some really cute vinyl lettering things and once I get those I will repost. I just thought it turned out so cute!

Can You Guess What I'm Doing Tonight?

If you guessed watching Survivor and The Office-- you were WRONG! Nope-- as luck would have it I am tivoing those things because it is book club tonight! (Which I actually prefer believe it or not!) Anyway, I am just excited because my two favorite shows-- and a Amazing Race on Sunday start tonight. The Office is an hour long as well! Yippee! What are you doing tonight?

Sweet St. George

This weekend we went down to St. George with some friends. We rented a condo in Hidden Valley and just had a great time. The Harrisons brought their boat so we spent the majority of the time at Sand Hollow Reservoir. Here are pretty much the only pictures I took. I wish I would have taken some pictures of the kids at the park adjacent to the condo. It was a huge park with what they called a splash park. The best park I have ever been to bar none! Can't wait to do it again!

11 on the 11th

Going through all our pictures I realized just how much we have done in our short 11 years. Believe it or not I had to leave out quite a bit. Anyway, I love you with all of my heart and can't wait to see what the next 11 years have in store for us!

Friday Night Lights

The cheering section
Lance is #24! He plays Wide Receiver for the Orem Tigers!
If you look closely you can see #24-- this was taken right after he scored his first touch down this year! (In all the excitement I was delayed in getting the camera out to take the picts!)
Chase before the game really got under way!
Chase after the game got under way. (We are telling him to tell everyone that they should see what the other guy looks like!)

So my nephew Lance is playing WR for Orem and our family is loving spending our Friday nights watching him! It makes the game so much more fun having somebody to route for! Anyway, last night they got revenge on the Timpanogos Twolves who beat them last year in a nail biter at home-- in their Homecoming nonetheless! But this year they returned the favor. It was a nail biter-- or so they say we had to leave at the fourth quarter due to the injury sustained on our son-- who is not on the team but wants to be. He and his cousins and other kids were playing their own game of football when Chase took a tumble. This is a pretty good war wound! Anyway, good job Lance-- keep it up!

The End of an Era

So long old friend. You took great care of us. I think your new owners will be very excited to have you in their family. We will miss you-- especially because we have no replacement yet. I do remember when we got you nearly 4 years ago next month. We were desperate for you because another car we had was totaled by the drunk driver who ran a red light-- thank goodness Randy was safe. Once we were told you were coming, we were in Hawaii with the Ohran fam and Randy had to reroute his flight home to stop and pick you up in Vegas. I stayed behind to deal with the LA drama (namely our hotel in the hood and a few other unmentionables!) Oh but how grateful we are to have had you! Good luck to you-- as for us stay tuned to see what the future holds for us...
