For all you golfers-- this is funny!

So this month has been pretty quiet. Nothing too exciting to report but even if there was-- chances are I was too occupied to notice due to my new obsession-- the iphone! I am addicted to this thing and unfortunately so is my 3 year old son. The games you can download are great. I love the sudoku and bubble blaster and Chase's faves are arcade bowling, bowling, and a coloring one. Randy laughs because it is not unusual to find Chase and I begging each other for our turn on the device. I also love the calender feature which helps me keep somewhat organized as to what event comes when-- although these days not too many events going on! So as a summary-- get the iphone it is the best-- or don't, it may be smarter to avoid this time consuming weapon!

St. George with the Sista's!

So this weekend we went to St George to watch my nephew Ethen in a baseball tournie. We were going to make it a big affair with our kids and mom but the weather was predicted to be horrible so we left them home. I am glad we did. It was cold-- the good news is that we didn't get rained or snowed on but we definitely had to bundle up in blankets and coats. We had a great time just the gals and Ethen watching ball games and joking around-- we even went and saw Paul Blart Mall Cop. It was fun. Thanks to Randy who stayed home and took care of Chase and who also had my house cleaned spotless when I cam home! What a treat-- he spoils me! Also thanks to my sisters who are some of the best friends and support system I can know! Love you guys! I can't wait for the next tournie in March!

New Calling

So I have officially been released as the Activities Day Advisor and am now the ward sports specialist! I must say this is a calling I am happy about!!!!

Chase on the airplane-- this is alomost like the first time he has ridden on a plane since the first times were all when he was free to fly-- so before he was 2! This was our first flight having to buy three tickets! Yikes! (he LOVED it!)

We're back! Again! We decided it was that time of year again. My family all took off for the happiest place on earth. This time we brought along Brother David (a sort of adopted brother who lives with my mom and dad after his eligibility ran out at UV). Anyway, he has become a really fun part of our family and has never been to Disneyland so we all thought it was high time to change that. He was a blast to take because he LOVED every second. He even bought himself a pair of Mickey ears had his name embroidered on them and wore them all day every day! We chose to fly this time because airfare was a screaming deal so we thought let's just go for it. Some of the highlights were that Chase was tall enough for all the rides this time without stuffing his "Disneyland" shoes. (His Disneyland shoes have about an inch of rubber sole on them which helps put him over the top.) Another highlight is Chase's new favorite ride-- Space Mountain. We thought last time he would be scared and scarred for life of roller coasters but this time we thought let's just go for it-- good thing we did because he loved it! It is his new favorite ride and would have loved to just never get off the thing. I personally love the newest To Story Mania! I is my personal favorite and being that the crowds were fairly limited we could ride that without much wait. (This is not including Saturday and Sunday-- the crowds were pretty good sized-- not huge but just bigger then on the weekdays. But all in all we had a great time. Can't wait to go again-- which could be sooner rather then later since we decided that the amount of time we go each year it is worth investing in an annual pass-- so we took the plunge and upgraded our 5-day hopper to an AP! Anyone want to go?
