Our New Neighbors

So we are no longer loners on our little street. They started digging ground last week so we will soon be getting new neighbors. I had to take a picture and remember what it was like when we were the only ones-- I just wish I had taken it before the hole.

Zeppelin Revisited

So, many years ago-- before we were married we went to the Led Zeppelin concert (Page/Plant) at the then called Delta Center. It was me, Shannon, and Kira and we had a blast. Anyway, they came to town again so we decided to go. Actually, the Utah Symphony did a rendition of them with their guest Randy Jackson-- no not the American Idol judge, rather the lead singer for the group Zebra-- but he was close enough to the real thing in looks as well as voice. We had a really great time on our date night-- but if you'll notice in the picture-- I am sans Randy. We decided at the last minute we did not want to bring our 5 week old-- so Randy graciously stayed home and let me go party with my friends and their husbands! Anyway, it was really fun-- next time, however, we will remember to bring a better food spread like all our other concert going friends like hummus and goat cheese etc. My cinnamon taffy just wasn't quite enough. We will also try to remember to dress a tad warmer-- August at Deer Valley is a little cooler then I thought.

Logan or Bust

Came in time for the Nederhauser bake sale! They are Barb's neighbors that have this incredible neighborhood bake sale that all the neighbors were lining up for and the smart ones even pre ordered! It really put our lemonade stand to shame!
Of course we had to have Fredrico's Pizza! A Watts family favorite-- and a must have for any one visiting Logan!

Plenty of diet coke and goodies! This trip was not good for my post baby diet but--oh so worth it!
Yesterday I took a day trip up to Logan with my cousin Sarah to spend the day with my aunt Barb! We had a great time just eating, and chit chatting, and more eating! It was a beautiful day in Cache Valley-- I love it up there! Thanks Sarah and Barb for the wonderful company and awesome food! I also need to give a shout out to my Grandma Watts who would have turned 99 today!!! It made my trip there just a little more special! We are going to have to celebrate with everyone next year for her and my Grandpa Con's 100th!

Computer

So if you can't tell this is the word computer! Chase was doing his usual writing and needed to write the word computer-- well, rather than asking how to spell it he decided to sound it out! When he showed me I was unsure of how he did this I asked if he had copied it from somewhere or if someone told him but he just said, "No, I just sounded it cum-pu-der!" I was so proud! No, he did not spell it correctly but he definitely sounded it out and came pretty close! What a cutie!

Happy Hump Day

Can you believe it has been a year since Tyler left? We decided to go to Winger's in his honor-- minus a few people! (Kelli and Ethen are in California with his All Star baseball team trying to earn a spot in the Pony League World Series! They took state and so they are at Regionals! Go Ethen!) Anyway, we are so very proud of Tyler and are so excited to be on the downside of two years! Love you Tyler!
