There is a saying, "it's like riding a bike" in reference to not being able to forget how to do something-- but last summer we thought we taught Chase how to ride a bike but by this summer he had forgotten how-- after working with him-- he finally has it down. He is becoming an expert and he is in LOVE with his bike! The night after he learned how he strategically placed his shoes by his bed and said they would be right there for him in the morning so that he could ride his bike in the morning. He then said he was going to dream about riding his bike. The next day he came out of his room with his flip flops on and his jammies ready to ride. Randy asked him if he dreamed about his bike he said, "yes, and I rode all the way to St. George!" Anyway, it is hard to watch him go because I just worry he is going to fall, (and yes, we are getting him a helmet, the one we have is too small!) I guess riding a bike is good preparation for the days to come when they start driving and stuff like that! YIKES!
